We’ve had a lot going on that I can’t really tell the world about, so it’s really kept me away from writing about anything at all.
Things that are good:
L&M. It’s an amazing AMAZING little Italian place here. I have no words. We were generously given a couple of gift certificates, and I have to say it is now our happy special occasion place. If you have the means, get the Chef’s Tasting Menu. It’s 5 courses of culinary pleasure from the chef to you. Each course is a surpise and each better than the last.
The season premiere of Veronica Mars. There are some shows I miss over the summer like I miss a dear friend and this was one of them. The premiere was everything I needed it to be and I am so excited about this season.
Doctor Who. This is such a good sci fi show! We picked up last season and loved it, and have started watching the new one on SciFi. It’s so good! Goofy sci fi fun. Watch it.
Things that I am looking forward to:
Battlestar Galactica. I have to say one of the best TV related choices we ever made was giving in and finally renting the miniseries then getting into the first season of this. (Thank you, Julie.) The new season starts tonight, and we so cannot wait. After that finale from last season, Ron Moore has some ’splainin to do.
Disney World. Yes, my friends, we are going to Experience the Magic™. In t-minus 11 days and counting, we’ll be off for five days in sunny Florida. And I. need. a. vacation.
